Senior Advisory Associate – Financial Services

Dallas – Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities

Thorough understanding of investment and financial services, related general business planning knowledge

Execute engagement planning across multiple projects within Alternative Investment Funds,
Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, Insurance and related industries

Effectively execute audit plan and advisory services for financial clients

Assist in providing financial service knowledge and experience, displaying working
knowledge of hedge funds, private equity funds and mutual funds

Monitor multiple client engagements, build and manage client relationships

Research and consult on complex financial statements, demonstrate advanced understanding of technical accounting, processes and complex issues

Coordinate development of planning activities on engagements including time budgets

Ability to plan, perform and deliver work independently

Ensure that deliverables are clear, concise and within guidelines

Assist in development and delivery of project budgets, timelines

Direct and mentor associates across multiple concurrent projects

Requirements

2-6 years recent public, or a combination of public/industry experience

Financial services experience

Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance required; Master's in Accounting/Finance preferred

CPA candidate required, CPA preferred

Demonstrate strong working knowledge of federal accounting laws in financial services

Thorough understanding of accounting issues and financial statement preparation

Excellent written and verbal communication

Proven ability to lead and develop team
